8 Humanoid Robots will Also Participate in the United Nations Meeting on Artificial Intelligence
When the United Nations holds its first meeting on the benefits of artificial intelligence since the start of the global pandemic, 8 humanoid robots will take center stage.

According to the report of the news agency “AFP”, the UN International Telecommunication Union (ITU) said that for the first time in 2017, the technology of artificial intelligence for the Good Global Summit will be used in 3 ways of the global epidemic. It will return on July 6 and 7 after a one-year break.
The event aims to show how artificial intelligence and other new technologies will help achieve the UN’s flagship Sustainable Development Goals, including combating climate change and boosting humanitarian efforts. “It is in our collective interest that we can adapt to artificial intelligence faster than it can adapt to us,” new ITU chief Dorian Bodin-Martin said in a statement.
As the UN’s primary forum for artificial intelligence, the meeting will bring leading voices representing diverse interests to the table so that artificial intelligence can make significant progress in our race to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, he added.
It should be noted that in 2015, the United Nations members chose 17 Sustainable Development Goals, whose objectives are food security, poverty eradication, and access to clean and affordable energy by 2030. ITU said that during the July meeting, 8 humanoid social robots and more than 20 specialized robots will be brought under one roof for the first time.
The humanoid robots named Beonmi, Nadine, Sophia, JamieNoid, 4NE-1, I-Da Robot, Grace, and Desdemona will demonstrate capabilities such as firefighting, medical aid, and sustainable farming.
