Switch Mobility To Roll Out Ultra Low-Floor E-Buses For State Transport Soon

Switch Mobility, the electric vehicle (EV) arm of Ashok Leyland, is set to commence the delivery of over 1,200 ultra low-floor electric buses and 100 inter-city electric buses in the coming months, according to CEO, Mr. Mahesh Babu.

“We are excited to introduce the EiV12 ultra low-floor buses and EiV inter-city buses to multiple state transport corporations in the next month. This marks a significant step toward providing efficient, eco-friendly transportation solutions for India’s public transport sector,” Mr. Babu shared during an interaction.

As part of its larger vision to revolutionize sustainable urban mobility, Switch Mobility’s rollout aims to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions in public transportation. The upcoming EiV12 model is designed to offer a smooth, comfortable ride for passengers while significantly reducing carbon emissions.
