Mitotic Spindle
Creative Biolabs provides a wide variety of recombinant antibodies available for use in mitotic spindle studies.
The cytoskeletal structure of eukaryotic cells that develops during cell division to divide sister chromatids between daughter cells is referred to in cell biology as the "mitotic spindle." The meiotic spindle is known to produce gametes with half the number of chromosomes of the parent cell during meiosis, but the mitotic spindle is known to produce genetically identical daughter cells during mitosis.
