Understanding the Role of Childcare Administration

Childcare administrators help ensure that daily operations run smoothly while maintaining a supportive environment for children, families, and staff. Their responsibilities may include organizing schedules, managing resources, supporting employees, communicating with families, and following applicable childcare requirements.

Strong administrative skills can also help professionals make thoughtful decisions about staffing, program planning, budgets, and the overall operation of a childcare facility.
