Tehreek-e-Insaaf has Finalized Names for the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab
Tehreek-e-Insaaf has finalized two names to be sent to the parliamentary committee regarding the appointment of caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
Tehreek-e-Insaaf has decided that the names of Ahmad Nawaz Sukhira and Naveed Cheema will be sent to the parliamentary committee. Apart from this, the spokesman of the Punjab Assembly says that the time of the meeting of the parliamentary committee for the caretaker chief minister has been changed.
The members of the parliamentary committee had a meeting with Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan on the issue of the establishment of a caretaker government in Punjab, in which a detailed consultation was held regarding the nomination of the caretaker chief minister in Punjab and Ahmed Nawaz Sukhira for the caretaker chief minister and Naveed Cheema's names have been finalized.
In the meeting, Imran Khan said that the country cannot afford to delay the elections, jeopardizing the transparency of the elections in a sensitive situation of the country’s enmity with the nation. A caretaker government is well suited for this responsibility.
A committee has been set up to consult on the caretaker chief minister of Punjab, the government and the opposition will send two names to the committee. The committee has to agree on one name within three days. One of them will be appointed by the caretaker chief minister.
