After opting to bat after the toss, England Lost the wicket of Phil Salt early on but then took complete control of the match. England posted a huge score in T20 cricket with devastating batting from Jos Buttler and Harry Brook.

Captain Jos Buttler batted brilliantly, scoring 131 runs off just 64 balls. His innings included 12 fours and 8 sixes. On the other hand, Harry Brooke scored an unbeaten 95 off just 45 balls, which included 4 fours and 8 sixes. The brilliant partnership between these two batsmen saw England eventually post 257/3.
